My dad worked hard all his life.After trying various mundane factories he became a rent collector for the council.He slowly worked his way up the ladder until becoming housing manager.He was incredibly intelligent and easily liked.He took voulentary redunancy when the council became a housing association.He was best known for being the backbone of our village rugby team and has filled every position at one time or another.He was incredibly loved and respected by the club and other clubs.known in rugby circles as "Mr Wattstown"..in october he was diagnosed with liver and kidney cancer.At that point we were told it was operable.On 17th november results of a ct scan showed it had spread through his bones and there was no longer anything that could be done.We as a family were devastated.He passed away 5 weeks later 2 days before christmas.3 months after their 40th anniversary and 3 months before my 40th birthday,leaving a wife,2biological daughters,3 stepsons,20+ grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.All who worshipped him deeply.He was the first man i ever loved and his passing has left a massive hole in our family.I love you dad,until we meet again
