John was an ardent music lover and was a teenager in the sixties,arguably the best time for music although he loved music from all eras. This led to him teaching himself to play drums.He played in many bands but ended his career playing clubs for old time dancing.He loved to drum and would beat the sreering wheel to a song on the radio or on the arm of his chair.He passed his deep connection with music to me and through this we shared a deep love and connection to music.He introduced me to old bands and i introduced him to new ones.I often go to music as a way to connect and remember mu dad ewith extreme fondness and respect.
